Mozilla's Official Add-ons Fix thread
So -- this is the second time #Mozilla
has done this recently.
(When they jumped to quantum they orphaned many add-ons
and we didn't really get to find out about this until it happened.)
Add in Mozilla's post-Brenan Eich, over the top, #SJW
and their repeated efforts to sell off our data;
and crap like default-on #pocket
and that's about enough of them.
If you are on #Linux re-evaluating browsers now -- what are you picking?
For me -- #Chrome is obviously out
is out -- as they are lusting after just being part-of-Chrome now anyway.
is out. Too Chinese-y. You can't even add a search engine.
? No debian package. And they do tend to lag behind.
? No #debian
package and their install process looks ... shaky.
Any in-distro-repository browser suggestions from folks?
